PC Pandora's SAFE SCHOOLS
Protect Your Students and Schools From Online Predators, Cyberbullying and Illegal File Sharing - for FREE!!!

As a teacher or school administrator you do everything possible to keep kids safe while they are in your care. But in the age of cyberspace, the threats can be within your school every time a student connects to the Internet.

But did you know there is an extremely effective and FREE resource available to you?

At Pandora Corp., we fully recognize two things: a need to keep students safe while online at school, and the limited resources of the education system. That is why we started our SAFE SCHOOLS program. Here are some facts:

1 In 7 Kids Are Approached Online by Predators

The most dangerous aspect of the Internet is its use by pedophiles. Child molesters and predators use the Internet as a tool to pose as youngsters themselves and strike up a conversation with children. Predators become friends with children and try to expose them to pornography. In many cases, they also try to meet their new, young Internet friends in real life and can cause serious harm.

Here's a scary fact: According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), 1 in 7 children (ages 10-17) who use the Internet are approached by online predators.

In what may be even more disturbing, NCMEC says only 27 percent of kids who receive unwanted sexual content (including sexually explicit photos, videos or an invitation to meet someone), are likely to report it to a parent or guardian. 3 out of 4 kids never say anything - so parents, teachers and other responsible adults NEVER KNOW

Children are very impressionable, and the Internet is an avenue that allows them to enter into many different realities. It's true that the Internet is a very beneficial place for students to study, do research, complete homework assignments, communicate with classmates and have fun... But it can also be used by the wrong people to trap and hurt unsuspecting children.

Cyberbullying Runs Rampant

"Cyberbullying" is when a child, preteen or teen is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another child, preteen or teen via the Internet or other interactive and digital technologies. The methods used are limited only by the bully's imagination and access to technology. Children have killed each other, and even committed suicide after having been involved in a cyberbullying incident.

Another scary fact: According to a recent study commissioned by Cyberbullying.us, 34% of respondents reported experiencing cyberbullying. Even worse, 50% of respondents justified cyberbullying as being "done in fun," not realizing the potentially harmful effects it may produce.

Schools can be very effective brokers in working with parents to stop and remedy cyberbullying situations. They can also educate the students on cyberethics and the law. It is recommend that schools amend their 'acceptable use' policy and reserve the right to discipline a student for actions taken off-campus if they are intended to have an effect on the safety and well-being of fellow students during school hours.

Options As An Educator

As an educator, you have the responsibility to educate your students in a setting that is both productive and safe. Today, access to the Internet has taken students far beyond the walls of the classroom, but with that reach comes an ever-growing set of problems.

We recognize that the Internet is an exciting and effective tool for learning, and that it is essential for kids to learn to effectively use the Internet to remain competitive academically, so simply eliminating access isn't really an option. Nevertheless, no school official can be looking over a student's shoulder 100% of the time, so schools are often stuck trying to balance the needs of the student with the student's safety. In response, we developed an unobtrusive, easy-to-use way of giving school officials a "helping hand" in their classrooms and computer labs. Our software will help you monitor student activity for potentially dangerous activities like posting photos online or entering into chat sessions with adults, potentially illegal activities like file sharing or downloading music, and more. Furthermore, in today's litigious environment, protecting the children in your care isn't just a moral imperative, it's a legal one as well.

Now you can do all of this and more, absolutely FREE. In fact, the SAFE SCHOOLS program can even help you raise money for your schools. Read on to find out how.

The Solution

Our monitoring software, PC Pandora, is a desktop application designed to allow parents and teachers the ability to monitor and control PC activity by children, even when they can't be present. It enables educators to make sure no one is trying to solicit their students online or partaking in cyberbullying, and it can even be used to restrict access to sites that are not appropriate in an educational setting.

Through our PC Pandora's SAFE SCHOOLS program, we are offering donations of PC Pandora software valued at up to $100,000 to school districts (up to $10,000 for private/charter schools) across the country, in an effort to help keep students safe online!*

All we are asking in return is that designated SAFE SCHOOLS use the opportunity to address Internet safety with both parents and students in your area. It is an important issue that must not be overlooked. We would also reserve the right to tell the local media about our donation and efforts to keep students in your area safe online.

* Donations are made based upon number of grade 7-up schools and students within the educational entity and an appointed technical advisor must be available to ensure smooth communication between educator staff and us and to maximize the program's effectiveness.

The Sugar On Top

In addition to the giveaway, we can provide you with a unique code that will allow parents of your students to purchase the software at a discounted price ($10 off). The code will be tracked and a portion of those sales (25%) will be donated to your technology fund/budget to help shoulder the cost of online safety education. The code could also work as a great fundraiser for your PTA.

This is completely optional and not an obligation or condition to fulfill upon receiving a donation.

An All Around Win

Enrolling in our SAFE SCHOOLS program is a win for everyone: your students will be safer and more protected, your schools will have much-needed, effective resources, parents will have access to a cost-effective solution for their homes, and your school(s) can receive extra funds to help further online safety education in your area.

Important Reasons To Use PC Pandora In Your School(s)!

Monitors And Records All Emails
PC Pandora takes virtual snap shots of emails as they are written and received. It doesn't matter what email program or service students use. It doesn't matter if the emails are deleted right after they are read or sent.
Monitors And Records All Instant Message/Chats
PC Pandora takes snap shots of all chats that take place on the PC including all major instant messengers like Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, and more. Catch any pedophiles from chatting with your children and stop cyberbullying at the source.
Monitors And Records All Web Sites Visited
PC Pandora will record every web site visited on your PC for easy access later. It takes snap shots of the pages being visited and allows you to play them back with VCR/DVD play-like functions. Are your students surfing adult sites? Are they playing online games instead of an assignment? Are they witnessing and contributing to electronic bullying of their peers? You'll now know! Surf through hours of student online browsing in just minutes.
Block Unwanted Sites
PC Pandora gives you the ability to review all sites visited and then block any sites you don't want students to access. You can even add customized text that they will see when they try to access the site. Control what your school computers can and can't access online.
Completely Hidden
PC Pandora can run in the open if you so choose, to discourage children from doing things they shouldn't, or you can set it to run in stealth mode where it is undetectable. PC Pandora won't show up in the program files, running programs, task bar, registry or any other place. Completely hidden!
Monitor And Capture Every Program Run On Your PC
PC Pandora will log every application that is run on your PC. Are students running music downloading software or potentially putting the school's computer at risk by downloading and installing copyrighted applications? Not anymore, at least not without you knowing!
Easy To Install & Use
In less than two minutes you can have PC Pandora up and running on a PC. In addition, we provide complete documentation - and videos - that will explain every feature fully.

How It Works

We have created 2 videos filled with tips and tricks designed to help you get the most out of PC Pandora. We know that reading manuals isn't the most fun thing in the world, and people tend to learn better by watching somebody else do it first. You'll have access to these videos included in the donation package. You'll learn little tricks that most people miss.

Won't it be a relief to know that, if an adult is trying to solicit your students or if students are electronically bullying their peers, you can stop it?
