Re: INNOVAGEST SL and/or Pandora Software, LLC

In the past couple of months we have fielded calls, emails and support inquiries – with increasing frequency – for an antivirus program that is purported to belong to INNOVAGEST SL and/or Pandora Software, LLC. Please be aware that our company, Pandora Corp., maker of PC Pandora monitoring software and the Pandora Recovery data recovery tool, does NOT make antivirus software of any kind or title and is NOT responsible for the products being sold on the Internet by INNOVAGEST SL or Pandora Software, LLC.

We are not sure at this time if the similarity in names is a deliberate attempt to harm our company, or if it is simply a mistake, but we are pursuing all appropriate remedies and hope to have a resolution at some point in the near future.

To reiterate, the antivirus software we have fielded support requests for has several names, including antivirus 2008, antivirus 2009, antivirus xp2000, and antivirus XP 2008. None of these titles or programs are made by Pandora Corp. At this time the entirety of our software line is PC Pandora and Pandora Recovery. Furthermore, we have never made, and at this time do not intend to ever make, antivirus software.

We ask all users that have been affected by antivirus 2008, antivirus 2009, antivirus xp2000, and antivirus XP 2008, or by any other program by INNOVAGEST SL and/or Pandora Software, LLC to understand that unfortunately we are unable to assist you in removal of any antivirus software, simply because it is not and never has been, our creation.
